It helps legal departments manage company requests by working within the communication tools and business systems they already use. Neomatter picks up requests and attachments from Gmail, Outlook, Slack, and Teams, then reviews documents, consults the team’s playbooks and past deals, and prepares analysis, recommendations, redlines, and draft replies. When a lawyer’s judgment is needed, it presents the decision, options, and a suggested course of action; a lawyer remains in control and must approve and send any response.

The platform also provides a view of open requests, their owners, and current status. Its playbook tools capture standard positions, fallbacks, approval rules, and walk-away points, with recommendations linked to supporting clauses and sources. Neomatter can draw context from systems including Salesforce, Ironclad, ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, HubSpot, and Airtable. The company says customer data is encrypted, isolated by organization, and not used to train models, and that the service never sends messages without lawyer approval.
