Nepalgunj Marathon is a premier running event established in 2015 to commemorate the peace treaty that ended a decade-long civil war in Nepal, fostering community spirit and promoting health through running. Organized in collaboration with Creative Hands and creativegunj Media, the marathon aims to uplift the sports culture in western Nepal while encouraging athletes of all levels to pursue active lifestyles.

Held annually in the first week of November, the event features a range of races, including a full marathon, and attracts participants from various backgrounds, including athletes, students, and local officials. Over the past seven years, Nepalgunj Marathon has grown immensely and, for its eighth edition, promises to enhance the experience for all attendees.

Dedicated to social responsibility, the marathon also supports local tourism and social cohesion, striving to become the largest road-running event in Nepal.
