Nepali Sahitya Samaj New Zealand is a registered nonprofit literary organisation established on 7 September 2016 to promote Nepali language, literature and literary heritage. Formed through the collaboration of Nepali community organisations in New Zealand, it provides a shared platform for writers and literature enthusiasts living across the country and around the world. The society encourages younger generations to engage with Nepali literature and supports its wider appreciation through literary and cultural activities.

Its programme includes in-person events and online gatherings, including live broadcasts and readings that welcome Nepali-speaking writers and creators from New Zealand, Nepal and elsewhere. Special readings mark authors’ birthdays and Nepali festivals. The society also hosts book discussions, literary launches, tributes and recognition events. Its website features information about the organisation, its members, activities and publications, including works published by members. Based in Palmerston North, Nepali Sahitya Samaj New Zealand invites language and literature enthusiasts to take part in its efforts to share and strengthen Nepali literary culture.
