Neppeser-Schefferjunge

Neppeser Schefferjunge vun 1955 e. V. is a community association based in Cologne-Nippes, with a focus on local carnival traditions and dance. Its website introduces both the Neppeser Schefferjunge and its children’s and youth dance group, De Klabautermänner, founded in 1995. The groups welcome boys and girls interested in dancing and taking part in activities connected with Cologne’s carnival culture.

The association shares news, event information, photographs and videos documenting performances and past seasons. Featured appearances include events at the Gürzenich and Lachende Kölnarena, as well as participation in “Pänz danze für Kölle.” The site also highlights the groups’ motto, recruitment information and press coverage, helping families learn more about the organization and its activities.

Training takes place at two locations in the Cologne-Nippes area: the parish hall of St. Bonifatius on Mondays and a primary school on Nesselrodestraße on Thursdays. Separate schedules are listed for the Klabauterminis and Klabautermänner. The association provides contact details and practical information for prospective members and visitors.
