Nero e non solo! is a nonprofit association based in Caserta, where it has worked since 1991 to promote integration and the sharing of different cultures. Its mission is to support practical coexistence between local residents and immigrants, helping newcomers become active participants in social life. The organization provides information about the laws, rights, and responsibilities that apply to foreign and European Union citizens in Italy.
It also helps people prepare and check documents for submission to public offices, and offers assistance with issues involving authorities and services such as the police headquarters, prefecture, immigration office, health service, social security agency, employment centre, tax agency, and municipal offices. Nero e non solo! also participates in initiatives addressing social inclusion, legality, and employment. Through its “Terra di lavoro e dignità” project, it established a snail farm on land confiscated from the Camorra, creating work opportunities for refugees and people affected by labour exploitation, alongside legality-focused camps.
The association also shares news and seeks collaborators for projects such as Su. Pr. Eme.
