About Netoptic
Netoptic SA | Saintes is a renowned eyewear brand with a rich family history in the world of optics. Established in 1974 by Celso Viejo, the brand initially focused on creating cleaning products for glasses and distributing various eyewear brands in Belgium. In 1978, Netoptic launched its own eyewear brand called Kinto, which quickly gained popularity among opticians and built strong relationships with independent opticians.
Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Netoptic experienced significant growth, expanding its offices and doubling its workforce. Under the leadership of Celso Viejo, production shifted to Vietnam in 2008, and the brand continued to thrive. In 2013, Netoptic introduced another successful brand called Malt, specifically catering to men's eyewear.
With over 40 years of expertise, Netoptic emphasizes craftsmanship and a strong brand identity. The brand's dedicated team of five designers, including Celso Viejo and his daughter Johanna, meticulously design every aspect of the Malt and Kinto frames. From hand-drawing to the final touch, Netoptic oversees all 300 steps of production in their factory.
This level of independence ensures their ability to be reactive, spontaneous, and create unique designs that reflect the brand's identity
