This Michigan-based brand creates handcrafted wooden fly-fishing landing nets for anglers who value practical equipment and fine craftsmanship. Made by Sam in a dedicated workshop, the nets are shaped from American hardwoods, individually contoured and detailed, then finished with at least six coats of epoxy for a deep, lustrous glow and added protection. Brass fittings are machined and polished by hand. Each net is signed and numbered, making it both a functional fishing tool and a distinctive piece of art for the home or office.
Customers can shop available nets or request a custom design, choosing features to suit their personal taste. The brand also offers accessories, including magnetic net keepers and net bags, as well as brass eyes and router bits. Through fly-fishing shows, demonstrations, and classes, Sam shares his knowledge of net construction. A blog provides further insights into building custom wooden nets and related workshop techniques. With more than 25 years of craft experience, the business brings together thoughtful design, hands-on workmanship, and a lasting connection to fishing.
