Netzwerk Q

Netzwerk Q is a German initiative that helps businesses make vocational training more effective, modern and future-focused. It supports trainers, managers and other people responsible for apprenticeships with practical guidance, professional development and opportunities to exchange ideas. The project is run jointly by the German Economic Institute (IW), the business education organizations and other educational institutions, with support from the Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.

Its resources cover the full training journey, from recruitment and onboarding to learning support, career development and successful completion. Key topics include artificial intelligence in training, diversity and inclusion, mental health, communication, leadership and preventing conflicts or early training termination. Netzwerk Q offers workshops, talks, online courses, e-learning, training packages, practical materials, events and tailored in-house programs. It also provides online and regional advice, studies, learning networks and a certificate for trainers. Registered users can access a personal learning area with digital resources, saved content and a toolbox of templates, tested tools and practical examples.
