NeuroDevCo

NeuroDevCo is a Virginia nonprofit collaborative focused on improving children’s access to psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations. Founded by three women psychologists with expertise in neurodevelopmental assessment and personal experience raising neurodiverse children, it aims to reduce delays between developmental concerns, diagnosis, and support. The organization provides in-person, autism-focused diagnostic evaluations in collaboration with treatment providers, while keeping assessments and diagnostic decisions independent and in the hands of its staff psychologists. Its work is designed to give families clear explanations, strengths-based understanding, and actionable guidance so children can connect with services sooner.

NeuroDevCo’s programs include the Little Steps Forward Project, which addresses the gap between waiting for an autism evaluation and receiving services, as well as the SchoolHouse Project, the Access Project, and the Global Delay Project. Through partnerships with ABA providers and other treatment organizations, and through charitable programs, the nonprofit works to lessen financial and systemic barriers to evaluation. NeuroDevCo also offers telehealth where permitted under clinicians’ state licenses and PSYPACT guidelines, and invites community support through donations.
