About New Community Corporation
New Community Corporation (NCC) is a community development organization founded in 1968 to help residents of inner cities improve their quality of life and realize their dignity and potential. Recognized as one of the largest and most comprehensive community development corporations in the United States, NCC brings a wide range of services together under one roof, serving people at every stage of life.
Its housing services include affordable homes for individuals, families, seniors, and people with disabilities, as well as family transitional housing and shelter. Health offerings include mental health counseling and skilled nursing care. Educational programs range from early childhood learning and youth activities to adult education and career and technical training. NCC also connects community members with practical resources, including a food pantry, family support programs, housing assistance, and a credit union. Environmental services, real estate development, and construction are also part of its work. Through its programs, events, and community resources, New Community Corporation aims to strengthen neighborhoods and support residents’ well-being, learning, and personal achievement.
