New Forest Care is a specialist provider of residential care, education and therapy for vulnerable children and young people. Established in June 2001, the organisation offers tailored support in a safe, supportive environment, with children’s wellbeing and advocacy central to its approach. It works in partnership with local authorities, parents and carers to meet individual needs.
Its services include small-scale children’s homes for both long-term placements and short-term stays of 90 days, alongside schools that also welcome day students who are not in residential care. Education provision includes New Forest School, Forest Edge School, alternative provision services, a School Farm and Outdoor Learning Centre, and a Forest School. One school and an alternative provision service are located on the Isle of Wight; other sites are near the New Forest.
New Forest Care’s Clinical Services Team supports children in residential care and can also work with students in line with their Education, Health and Care Plans.
