The Danish New Forest Pony Breeders’ Association is a breed organisation for New Forest pony owners, breeders, riders and enthusiasts. Its website shares information about the breed and supports members through news, guidance, events and resources. It describes the New Forest pony as a versatile riding and working pony, successful in show jumping, eventing, dressage, para-dressage and driving, with achievements in competitions at national and international levels.
The association’s activities include stallion and mare inspections, performance tests, shows, stud visits, courses, talks and trips. It also runs competitions across eastern and western Denmark, including championships, medal riding and breed-specific challenges, with classes for different levels and no rider age limit. Online resources cover breeding goals, breed standards, health, rules, judging, approved and elite stallions and mares, results, and registration information.
Members can find an activity calendar, news, stud listings, sponsor information and details about joining. The association welcomes people interested in the breed and promotes a community built around learning, recreation and competition
