Welcome to New Gate Arts, a vibrant community arts center and cultural hub located in The Fountain area of Londonderry. Our mission is to provide opportunities for everyone to experience and engage with the unique cultural heritage of our community. At New Gate Arts, we offer a wide range of workshops, classes, performances, talks, tours, festivals, and cultural events.

Whether you're interested in music, drama, performing arts, or creative arts, we have something for everyone. We also facilitate discussions, conduct good relations workshops, and initiate peace-building initiatives. As a part of the North West Cultural Partnership, we collaborate with six autonomous organizations to promote art, culture, and heritage activities.

Our aim is to use Community Cultural Development to transform the lives of individuals and communities. In 2016, we purchased our current premises and have since become a thriving cultural hub, providing access to services and activities that have had a major positive impact on the local community. We are currently in the process of renovating and extending our center with the support of The Executive Office Urban Village Initiative, which will address the issue of vacancy and dereliction in The Fountain area.
