NEW HAVEN BASKETBALL

New Haven Rockets Boys Basketball is a community-focused basketball program dedicated to developing student-athletes on and off the court. Its mission is to build confidence, commitment, integrity, respect, honesty, responsibility, and teamwork while helping players grow their basketball skills and reach their potential in a safe, disciplined environment. Coaches, players, families, and volunteers contribute to the program’s work.

The Rockets offer boys’ basketball teams, including junior varsity and varsity, with rosters, schedules, results, coaching information, and team news shared through the program’s website. The program also promotes youth camps, leagues, and training, and hosts the annual Rocket Holiday Classic tournament. Its community presence includes service activities, sponsors, team photos, videos, and information about alumni who have progressed to the next level.

The Rockets have a notable competitive history, including the 2016–2017 Class B state championship, multiple league, district, and regional titles, and a run to the 2017–2018 State Final Four. The program presents basketball as a foundation for life skills, achievement, and community connection.
