New Life House

New Life House is a sober living and recovery community serving young men and their families in Los Angeles and the South Bay. Founded in 1985, the organization provides structured, drug-free homes where residents build sobriety through peer support, accountability, daily routines, and growing independence. Its three homes welcome young men from across the United States, and the organization says no insurance is required because its programs are private pay.

New Life House offers sober living and transitional living, helping residents develop life and relationship skills as they move toward independent living. Through clinical partnerships, it also connects families with medically supervised detox and residential treatment. Additional services include a family program, alumni community, educational and vocational support, and court-ordered alternative sentencing placements. Educational programming can help residents pursue GEDs, college, trade certifications, and career paths. The admissions team helps families identify an appropriate starting point, from clinical treatment to direct entry into sober living. New Life House presents recovery as a community effort, involving residents, families, peers, and alumni.
