New Mama Village

New Mama Village provides postpartum doula support for families in Faribault, Minnesota, and the South Metro. Led by Mandy, the service helps parents navigate the fourth trimester with practical guidance, encouragement, and care for both baby and mother. Its approach recognizes that welcoming a baby can bring joy as well as overwhelm, and that families benefit from support as they adjust to life after birth.

Services include breast and bottle-feeding support, guidance on nutrition and rest to aid maternal recovery, and evidence-based information about infant needs and care. Through teaching and modeling, Mandy helps parents, siblings, and extended family learn how to respond to and care for the baby and mother. New Mama Village also helps families identify people who can become part of their support network and hosts formal and informal groups where new mothers and parents can connect with others on a similar journey.
