About NEW MYANMAR FOUNDATION
New Myanmar Foundation (NMF) is a nonprofit organization established in January 2008 with the aim of contributing to the development of Myanmar. Before the military coup, NMF focused on election monitoring and related activities such as voter rights training and townhall meetings. However, due to crackdowns and arrests, NMF has moved to the Thai-Myanmar border to continue its mission of promoting democratic governance and restoring human rights in Myanmar.
