About New Perceptions
New Perceptions is a dedicated organization that serves infants/toddlers, teens, and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and other barriers. With a strong belief in the potential of their participants, they provide a wide range of services to help them reach their maximum potential. For children up to age 3, New Perceptions offers occupational and speech therapy to equip them with the necessary skills and preparation for school.
They also provide three programs for adults: The Work Center, which offers assembly and packaging work; Supported Employment, which provides support and skill development for success in community workplaces; and The Learning Center, offering classroom-style learning, art programming, and adult day services. New Perceptions serves 761 individuals annually from eight counties in Northern Kentucky. They strive to promote the welfare of children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their families by providing education, growth, and employment opportunities in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Their ultimate vision is to become the preferred provider and the go-to source for services for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
