Hedyn

Hedyn is a social housing provider serving south-east Wales, supporting residents and communities across more than 15,000 properties. Its purpose is to help build connected communities where everyone can live well, recognising a good home as a foundation for stability and wellbeing. Hedyn offers homes across five regions, with options including one- to four-bedroom houses, apartments and bungalows. People can explore homes to rent, rent privately through Hedyn, swap homes, or access routes to homeownership, including low-cost homeownership schemes and shared ownership. The organisation also supports leaseholders and shared owners.

For residents, Hedyn provides practical services and information for paying rent, booking repairs, managing housing contracts, making changes to a home, and reporting antisocial behaviour. Its support also covers healthy homes and estate management. Beyond housing, Hedyn works with communities through events, resident involvement and community funding, and offers advice and support, including digital inclusion sessions at independent living schemes. Hedyn is the public-facing name of Tai Hedyn Limited, a registered society and Welsh Government-registered housing provider.
