The Newport Sportsmen Club is a vibrant community dedicated to promoting outdoor sports and fostering a love for shooting among enthusiasts of all ages. Located in Newport, the club offers an extensive array of activities, including a youth trap shooting league that nurtures the talents of upcoming champion shooters. Throughout the year, members can participate in spring, summer, and fall trap leagues held on Tuesday nights, as well as various ATA and Zone shoots.

In addition to competitive shooting, the Newport Sportsmen Club engages in philanthropic efforts, such as their long-standing annual Hospice Spaghetti Dinner, which supports Wilson Hospice, and the Annual Wounded Veteran Shoot benefiting the Miami Valley Wounded Veteran Fund. With multiple fundraising events and offerings like fish and chicken wing fries, the club actively contributes to local non-profit organizations. The clubhouse is available for rental, providing yet another venue for gatherings. Emphasizing education, the club also hosts Hunter Education courses every year, promoting responsible and safe hunting practices.
