New Sight is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and restoring sight in underprivileged communities. With a vision for a world where no one is needlessly blind, New Sight strives to eliminate reversible and preventable causes of blindness and severe visual impairment. Led by founders Henri Samoutou and Joyce Samoutou-Wong, who have a passion for helping others see again, the organization empowers and partners with local communities to provide eye care services.

Established in 2012, New Sight started its work in the poorest and most neglected communities in the north of Congo, known as New Sight Congo. The organization values heart over ability and creates a culture of inclusivity and accountability within its team. New Sight's work includes setting up surgical centers, hospital construction, and celebrating important milestones.
