NewsMuseum is an experiential space dedicated to news, media, and communication. Located in the former Toy Museum in Sintra, Portugal, this unique project offers visitors the ultimate media and communication experience in Europe. The museum showcases various aspects of media and journalism, including a photographic exhibition of Sintra's history, a giant touch screen tablet featuring 100 years of media episodes, and immersive 360-degree projections narrated by media professionals.
It also explores the impact of wars on journalism and highlights iconic sports moments and legendary athletes. Additionally, the museum delves into the world of propaganda, the global phenomenon of Fátima, and the influential journalists who shaped the industry. Visitors can explore modules devoted to radio, media duels, the future of media, and even try their hand at being a live reporter.
