Newtown Food Festival CIC organizes an annual celebration of food and music in the heart of Wales. Its 11th festival is scheduled for 5 and 6 September 2026 in the Town Hall Grounds, central Newtown, Powys. The event brings together food producers, visitors, musicians and families for a weekend of food, entertainment and activities.
The festival site includes a Main Stage, Food To Go Lawn, bar, Children’s Village, Festival Kitchen, Producers Lawn and Producers Marquee. Visitors can browse exhibitors, enjoy food and music, take part in children’s activities and explore fringe events, including the Safari Supper and Ceilidh Trail. The website provides event schedules and exhibitor information, while a free mobile app offers a map and further festival details.
Admission is free. The festival is funded by exhibitors, Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council and the Welsh Government, with support from sponsors. Its location in the town’s green spaces also places the town centre within a short walk, making it easy for visitors to explore the wider area during their visit.
