Newtype

Newtype is the premier destination for all your Gunpla and model kit needs. As the largest online Gunpla/hobby store on the West Coast, we are known for providing the most diverse selection of quality products with the highest level of service. We offer the latest Gundam model kits, along with a vast selection of paints and tools to enhance your model-building experience.

Our mission is to build the future in any scale, and we are passionate about getting everyone back to building and making things with their hands. Our founder's personal journey led him to create Newtype after discovering the joy and creativity that Gunpla kits brought to him and his children. Realizing the market lacked scale and customer service, he set out to build a better customer experience and provide a massive selection of products all in one location.

Since our founding in 2019, Newtype has become the fastest-growing Gunpla retailer in the US and the largest Gunpla retailer on the West Coast. We believe that model making is a path to recapturing the joy and excitement of creating something with your own hands, and we invite you to join us in building the future together
