NexID is an online reverse face search service that helps people find public appearances, profiles, and accounts associated with a face in a photo. Users upload a clear image, and NexID searches the open web for matches, including appearances that may use different photos rather than exact copies of the uploaded image. Results are ranked by match confidence and presented with source links, allowing users to review and verify information themselves. When public signals are available, the service may also connect a face to usernames and related accounts.

NexID is designed for practical questions, including checking dating profile photos, spotting potentially reused or stolen images, finding social media profiles, and tracing a person’s public online footprint. Searches typically take a few minutes and produce a readable report with identity signals and sources. The company says uploads are processed securely, are not added to a browsable photo gallery, and can be removed through its opt-out process.
