About NextWork
NextWork is the pioneering Opportunity Platform designed to bridge the gap between students and local businesses, facilitating valuable career-related experiences. This experiential learning portal enables students to connect with job opportunities, internships, educational programs, job fairs, and engaging speaker series events, thereby empowering them to make informed decisions about their futures. With a mission to enhance career readiness, NextWork provides students with access to essential training, life skills, and exposure required for success across various industries including manufacturing, healthcare, and IT.
Currently in a pilot phase with 1,500 students and numerous local companies, NextWork is set for a full rollout that will benefit approximately 200,000 students, courtesy of an ESC NEO collaboration. The platform, made possible in part by a grant from the Cleveland Foundation, continuously evolves to incorporate innovative features such as a learning management system, career-configurator tools, and an upcoming mobile app to track student progress post-high school. Best of all, NextWork remains entirely free for students, schools, and parents.
