About African Institute for Mathematical Sciences
The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is Africa's first and largest network of centers of excellence for post-graduate training in mathematical sciences. Established in 2003, AIMS is committed to empowering Africa's youth through STEM education, research, and public engagement. With centers in South Africa, Senegal, Ghana, Cameroon, and Rwanda, AIMS provides innovative and rigorous training programs to talented young Africans, enabling them to become creative leaders in science and technology.
AIMS offers a range of programs, including the Master's in Mathematical Sciences, the African Master's in Machine Intelligence, and the Ph. D. AIMS also collaborates with industry and hosts initiatives like the Next Einstein Forum and Quantum Leap Africa.
