Next Scene Films is an award-winning wedding film production company based in East Lothian, Scotland, and founded by videographer Matt. Established in 2008, the business focuses on natural, documentary-style films that capture weddings as they unfold, without staging or interrupting the day. Matt brings more than 18 years of filming experience and has filmed over 160 weddings across Scotland and the wider UK, including celebrations at historic estates, castles and city venues.
Couples work directly with Matt from their first enquiry through to final delivery. Services include wedding films, with previews typically delivered within 24 to 72 hours, and packages starting at £900. The company serves Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Borders, Ayrshire, Fife, Dundee, Aberdeen, the Highlands and other UK locations.
Sustainability is central to Next Scene Films’ approach. The company plants five trees for each booking, donates 10% of profits to the World Land Trust, and considers environmentally responsible choices in its business operations.
