Next Step Strategies

Next Step Strategies is a non-profit social service agency founded by Ann Wilkinson, PhD, with the aim of empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve independence. With over 40 years of experience as a behavior consultant, Ann recognized the need for positive behavior supports to help individuals thrive. At Next Step Strategies, we provide individualized care to our clients through person-centered planning.

We believe in tailoring our support to meet the unique needs of each person we serve. Our dedicated team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) help clients with a range of activities, such as budgeting, grocery shopping, cleaning, cooking, and accessing the community in meaningful ways. We also share Ann's vision of creating alternative independent housing for individuals with disabilities.

We strive to build intentional communities that cater to their sensory and social needs, providing natural supports.
