Nexus Early Learning is a family-owned and operated childcare provider offering long day care with integrated, government-approved kindergarten programs in Heidelberg, Ringwood, Mitcham and Yarra Glen, Victoria. Its centres combine the flexibility of full-day care with a consistent, nurturing environment led by qualified educators who support children’s wellbeing, development and school readiness.

Programs cater to infants from six months, toddlers from 18 months and kindergarten-aged children through six years. Nexus uses a blended Montessori- and Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, balancing guided learning with play, exploration and children’s interests. Learning experiences support communication, independence, literacy, numeracy, problem-solving and social and emotional development.

Additional offerings include sports, bilingual Mandarin, music and movement, sustainability and nature activities, as well as incursions, excursions, celebrations and special events. The centres also focus on transitions to primary school and communicate with families about children’s experiences and progress. Nexus is CCS approved and promotes inclusive, child-centred care, with programs designed to help children build confidence, curiosity and meaningful relationships as they grow.
