NexVi is a privacy-focused camera intelligence service designed to help people keep an eye on what matters when they cannot be there themselves. Users connect a camera to the NexVi app and describe, in everyday language, the situations they want to know about. The service interprets what the camera sees and sends an alert when a requested event occurs, accompanied by a video clip.
Examples include detecting a fall, checking whether someone has taken medicine or eaten, noticing a child near a stove, or monitoring whether a pet is on furniture. Alerts can be tailored with rules for particular days and times, and users can also check a live camera feed. NexVi says it does not store footage: camera streams are analyzed in memory, and frames are erased after processing.
