About NFEF-FCUL
Núcleo de Física e de Engenharia Física (NFEF) is the official student organization representing the Physics and Engineering Physics students at Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. Established in May 2016, NFEF aims to bridge the gap between students and the Physics Department by ensuring their representation within the university. In addition to this, NFEF complements the academic experience by organizing social and educational events.
These include biannual barbecues, various workshops, mentoring programs, and the flagship event, "Física Fora da Academia" (Physics Outside the Academy). The organization is run by a dedicated team, led by Madalena Gamboa as the President. NFEF also operates various departments such as Image, Pedagogy, Recreation, and IT.
