About Nature Friendly Farming Network
The Nature Friendly Farming Network is a brand that is led by passionate farmers across the UK who are committed to sustainable farming and preserving nature. Their goal is to unite farmers with a shared sustainable outlook and work towards positive changes in policy, particularly in how farming is supported by the public. By coming together, they believe that they can achieve more and learn from each other.
The network is led by a dedicated steering group, including Martin Lines as the NFFN UK Chair. Martin is a farmer and contractor in South Cambridgeshire, with a special interest in farm conservation management. He aims to see the network grow and collaborate with like-minded farmers and land managers to showcase the potential of nature-friendly farming.
Other members of the steering group include Philip Carson, who is the Sustainable Lead for Northern Ireland and Policy Lead for the UK, Kirsty Tait, the Sustainable Farming Lead for Scotland, and Alena Walker, the UK Communications Manager. They all bring their expertise to drive positive change in land use policy decisions and amplify the benefits of nature-friendly farming. If you're a farmer or a nature lover who wants to be part of the solution, you can join the Nature Friendly Farming Network and contribute to their efforts.
They provide a range of resources, including news, policy positions, farmer stories, blogs, podcasts, and training and events, to help you stay informed and connected. Additionally, they have a nature-friendly shop where you can explore and support their products. Join the discussion today and be part of a community dedicated to sustainable farming and the preservation of nature.
