New Forest Knowledge is a dedicated initiative focused on preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the New Forest region. This community-driven platform provides comprehensive access to a wealth of information, including catalogues, databases, and maps related to the area's history, archaeology, and cultural significance. Users can explore these resources through the website's user-friendly interface, which features a variety of map layers and source selections.

In addition to serving as an information hub, New Forest Knowledge encourages individuals and groups of all abilities to contribute their own research, articles, and photographs, thereby enriching the collective understanding of the New Forest's heritage. This initiative is a collaborative effort between two notable projects within the Heritage Lottery Funded programme, Our Past, Our Future Landscape Partnership: Ecademy, and Heritage on my Doorstep, both aimed at fostering community engagement and knowledge sharing. Through its commitment to accessibility and participation, New Forest Knowledge ensures that the stories of the New Forest are preserved and celebrated for generations to come.
