About NFP
The Nutrition Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. (NFP) is a pioneering organization dedicated to community nutrition. As the first private, non-profit organization of its kind, NFP is driven by a deep commitment to improving the nutritional status and overall well-being of the Filipino people.
With 60 years of existence, NFP has had a significant impact on the nation's health. They have approximately 6,000 affiliates of the Community Nutrition Program (CNP) and have graduated around 13,000 students from the Nutritionist-Dietitians in the Holistic Kitchen Care (NHKC) program. NFP offers a wide range of programs and services aimed at promoting healthy eating habits and better nutrition.
They focus on developing and implementing public food procurement and service policies for a healthier diet. NFP also actively engages with Southeast Asian countries to develop national plans of action for nutrition. With their comprehensive approach and expertise, NFP continues to make strides towards a healthier and nourished Philippines
