NFSP

Norsk Forening for Spillproblematikk (NFSP) is a Norwegian association focused on gambling-related problems. Founded in April 2000 by practitioners working with gambling addiction, it aims to spread knowledge, help reduce the scale of gambling problems, and provide a forum for cooperation among professionals and other interested people. The association welcomes new members without a membership fee.

NFSP shares information through its website, which features seminar materials, organizational documents, annual reports, work plans, consultation responses, and updates on relevant developments. In cooperation with KORUS East, it invites participants to a yearly seminar addressing gambling-related issues; presentations from recent events are made available online. The association also holds an annual meeting where members can speak and vote, and presents an award recognizing relevant contributions. NFSP provides a contact point for professional and media inquiries, as well as general information. Its work centers on awareness, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration rather than direct treatment services.
