NGCProject, also known as the National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP), is a network of organizations dedicated to promoting and empowering girls in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). With a mission to connect, create, and collaborate, NGCP works to transform the STEM experience for all youth. NGCP brings together advocates for transformative change, creating a diverse range of STEM opportunities to increase girls' participation and gender equity in these fields.
Through collaborative events, webinars, and in-person programs, NGCP has served over 88,000 practitioners and provided 1,800 role models through their FabFems initiative. With a history dating back to 2002, NGCP has expanded to include 33 Collaboratives and serves 41 states across the United States. They have also established a global network, known as the Global Girls Collaborative, and have been supported by grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
NGCP's goal is to build an equitable and inclusive STEM network, catalyzing change in research and practice, and enhancing organizational effectiveness to make a collective impact. By providing actionable knowledge and resources, NGCP strives to make STEM experiences accessible and engaging for all youth
