Ng'endo Studios is a creative hub led by Ng'endo Mukii, an acclaimed film director recognized for her innovative contributions to animation. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Ng'endo is best known for her Annie award-winning work on the Disney+ anthology episode Enkai, which showcases her distinct storytelling style. With a Master of Arts in Animation from the Royal College of Art and a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, she leverages her unique mixed-media approach to shed light on the experiences of indigenous African women.

Her work often challenges stereotypes, as exemplified in her thought-provoking presentation at the Design Indaba conference, titled Film Taxidermy and Re-Animation. In addition to directing, Ng'endo serves as a Professor of the Practice at SMFA at Tufts University, fostering the next generation of animators.
