Nghĩa trang liệt sĩ Việt - Lào, located in Anh Sơn, Nghệ An, is a significant memorial honoring the Vietnamese and Laotian soldiers who fought together during the revolutionary wars. Established in 1976, this unique cemetery spans nearly 7 hectares and is the largest site dedicated to the interment of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who perished in Laos. It serves as a poignant symbol of the strong friendship and cooperative spirit between Vietnam and Laos, a bond famously encapsulated by President Ho Chi Minh's words.

The cemetery consists of two main sections: Area A, with 5,381 graves, and Area B, housing 5,219 graves along with an additional 11 graves for martyrs. To date, it has provided a final resting place for approximately 11,000 soldiers, ensuring their sacrifices are remembered and honored. Beyond being a resting place, the site offers a space for reflection on the shared history and values of both nations, fostering a lasting legacy of solidarity and mutual respect.
