About The Transport Project
NGVAmerica is the leading advocate for the natural gas vehicle industry in the United States. With a focus on sustainability and reducing emissions, NGVAmerica promotes the use of natural gas vehicles (NGVs) as a cleaner alternative to traditional gasoline and diesel vehicles. NGVs are not only 90% cleaner than the current EPA standard for emissions, but they also emit up to 21% fewer greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions compared to gas and diesel vehicles.
When fueled with Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), GHG emissions can be reduced by an impressive 382%. NGVAmerica offers a range of resources and services to support the adoption of NGVs, including grants and incentives, information on vehicle availability, and assistance with transitioning fleets to natural gas. They also provide valuable insights through their industry podcast series, covering topics such as fuel policies, opportunities in the NGV market, and the environmental benefits of RNG.
