NHF

Norrlands Herpetologiska Förening (NHF) is a vibrant community dedicated to all enthusiasts in Northern Sweden who share a passion for reptiles and amphibians, including snakes, lizards, frogs, and turtles. Founded to foster knowledge and conservation efforts, NHF organizes various activities such as excursions and social events, enhancing engagement through exploration of local wildlife.

Members benefit from a range of services, including informative forums, newsletters, and collaborative possibilities with the Swedish Herpetological National Association. The association also hosts regular meetings, including an annual general assembly, where members can participate in governance and decision-making related to herpetological matters. Events like photo competitions and excursions, like the memorable huggormsexkursion to Tavelsjöberget, create opportunities for hands-on learning and community bonding.

Through its active social media presence, NHF connects members and fosters education about herpetology, making it an essential hub for anyone interested in the fascinating world of reptiles and amphibians in Northern Sweden.
