NHL Alumni

The NHL Alumni Association (NHLAA) is a membership organization for retired professional hockey players, working with local chapters to support hockey’s alumni community and honour the past. Its mission is to make tomorrow better for its hockey family through practical support for members and their families. The association offers financial assistance, emotional support, physical care, and help navigating the transition to life and work after playing. It also works to commercialize players’ rights and connect alumni with opportunities beyond the rink.

The NHLAA brings members and supporters together through events, including the Börje Salming Courage Award, the NHL Alumni Celebrity Golf Classic, the Man of the Year Award Gala, and other calendar activities.
