NHSAR

New Hampshire Sons of the American Revolution (NHSAR) is a state affiliate of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, an organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of the American Revolution. Organized on April 24, 1889, NHSAR connects members and the public with New Hampshire’s Revolutionary history through educational resources, commemorative activities, and community service.

The organization supports initiatives to identify and honor Revolutionary War patriots and their graves, including opportunities for volunteers to assist with its Patriot Graves Initiative. Its programs include color guard appearances, awards for JROTC participants and Eagle Scouts, and recognition of public service and veterans. NHSAR also shares essays, articles, historical information, photographs, and media through its website, blog, and YouTube channel.
