North Harrow Waltonians Angling Society (NHWAS) is an angling club based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, offering members access to several local fishing waters. Its River Section controls a stretch of the River Colne from Moneyhill to its junction with the Grand Union Canal at Maple Cross. The river is noted for chub and barbel, as well as other fish species, and night fishing is permitted.
Members can also fish Pete’s Pond, a facility created by the society, and access the Grand Union Canal through an arrangement with Blenheim Angling Society. The canal section runs from Batchworth, at Lock 81, to Denham Deep, at Lock 87, and may be fished at night and during the closed season. Further shared waters are available through the society’s affiliate membership of the Thames Valley Angling Association.
NHWAS accepts applications for River Section membership and operates a waiting list for full membership; only full members may fish Springwell Lake
