Nibs de Costa Rica S.A. is a Costa Rican cacao and chocolate company based in Curridabat, San José. Founded in 2018, it works with local talent and ingredients to create products made from cacao of entirely Costa Rican origin. The company combines direct sourcing with mid-scale processing, working with small and medium-sized cacao producers and serving both industrial and end customers. Its Responsible, Sustainable and Long-Term sourcing approach emphasizes ongoing relationships, transparency and traceability across the value chain, while supporting the development of Costa Rican fine-flavor cacao.
Nibs de Costa Rica offers bean-to-bar chocolates and contract manufacturing of chocolate bars in 57-gram and 30-gram sizes. Orders can include customized food-grade metallic pouch packaging and start at 1,000 units. Custom mold designs may also be arranged, with tooling and mold fabrication paid for by the client. The company conducts direct field visits and collaborates with suppliers through its cacao trading program.
