Nick's Natives

Nick’s Natives is a native ecological landscaping business serving Duluth, Minnesota. It helps homeowners create and care for landscapes that are attractive, sustainable, and suited to local conditions. The business offers ecological garden coaching for people who want guidance in planning, maintaining, or restoring a native landscape. It also provides native landscape design, whether clients are updating an existing garden or starting a new one. The approach centers on using native plants to support local ecosystems while making gardens easier to manage.

Native plants can provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, birds, and other wildlife. Their deep roots help stabilize soil, absorb water, and filter groundwater, while many species need less watering and maintenance once established. Nick’s Natives also highlights the role of native planting in restoring Minnesota’s prairie, savanna, and woodland habitats. Clients can contact Nick by email or phone to discuss their landscape goals and arrange a collaborative plan for transforming their outdoor space.
