**National Industrial Court of Nigeria**

Established in 1976 under the Trade Disputes Act, the National Industrial Court of Nigeria serves as a specialized judicial institution focused on labor justice and industrial relations. With its operational start in 1978, the Court has exclusive jurisdiction over civil matters related to labor, employment, trade unions, and workplace issues. It addresses disputes arising from various laws including the Trade Disputes Act and Employees' Compensation Act, ensuring a proper resolution of issues like strikes and employee rights.

The Court is also proactive in offering services such as its Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Centre, which employs mediation and conciliation techniques to resolve labor-related conflicts efficiently and cost-effectively.
