Nicodemus Uitvaartverzorging is a funeral service provider serving families in and around Edam, Volendam, Monnickendam, Marken and Purmerend, as well as nearby communities. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, its funeral directors guide families through the practical arrangements following a death and help create a personal, warm and dignified farewell. The team also supports people who wish to discuss or plan their funeral in advance, and can provide a free, no-obligation estimate based on their wishes.

Nicodemus arranges both burials and cremations, coordinating the service and related details with families. Its facilities include Het Mirakel funeral centre, with family rooms and contemporary amenities, and the organisation offers its own catering. Families can also arrange a memorial service or an intimate farewell at the centre. Additional services include online condolence registers and aftercare through Steunpunt Rouwzorg Volendam. With more than 25 years of experience and a personal approach, Nicodemus aims to ease the burden on bereaved families while respecting each individual’s wishes and the life being remembered.
