Nicola Jain Collections is the New Zealand art practice of painter and sculptor Nicola Jain Lewis. The brand creates distinctive, original works, drawing on traditional techniques and a longstanding family connection to art: Nicola is the daughter of internationally renowned painter and sculptor Rick Lewis, whose guidance helped shape her practice. After apprenticing with him at Ashford Castle in Ireland, she learned classical ceramic painting, including on-glaze techniques, as well as gouache painting.
Back in New Zealand, she became known for paintings of birds and horses and later expanded into sculpture, with a particular interest in bronze. Her offerings include original paintings and sculptures, exclusive bronze works, limited-edition prints, and commissioned pieces made to order. Nicola Jain Collections also creates bronze trophies, including awards for equestrian events and the New Zealand Breeder of the Year.
