NICS Archery Club

NICSSA Archery Club, founded in 1985 in Belfast, is a vibrant Target Archery Club welcoming both Civil Servants and the general public. The club caters to all enthusiasts, from beginners to experienced archers, offering a structured environment with indoor sessions from September to March and outdoor sessions from April to September. The main disciplines include Target Archery, an Olympic sport conducted on level ground, and Field Archery, which involves varying terrains.

Members can explore diverse styles such as Recurve, Compound, Barebow, and Traditional Longbow, competing in separate categories based on skill level and age. In addition to regular competitions, NICSSA promotes the sport through "Have-A-Go" sessions during summer events, allowing newcomers to experience archery in a fun and engaging way. With a dedicated team and affiliations with various archery organizations, including Archery Northern Ireland and Archery GB, NICSSA strives to foster a love for archery within the community while ensuring an enjoyable learning experience for all.
